2021

There is one thing we can all collectively agree on; 2020 is almost over and we never want it back. This has been a year of hardships, both financially and mentally, lockdowns, protests, sickness, and uncertainty. Although many of us weren’t around during the Great Depression, World War I or II, I think we can all say this has been one of the most challenging years in recent history. Now that it is almost over, what should we do?

I have never been a big fan of New Years Resolutions. They always seem to fall by the wayside around the start of February. Having said that, I do have a few things to challenge the Elska Dental family to follow through on in 2021.

  1. Take better care of your teeth: Eat less sweets, brush your teeth twice daily, floss every night.
  2. Shop locally: Avoid big chains if possible. If you need to buy something, search out a small local store before hitting up Amazon or Walmart. The small guys have taken a beating all year and need our help.
  3. Volunteer for something greater than yourself: Go serve meals at the Denver Rescue Mission, walk dogs at the Dumb Friends League, deliver Meals on Wheels to the infirm and elderly, or anything else you think you can be of service.

If we can stick to some of these easy ways to improve ourselves and the world around us, 2021 will leaps and bounds better than 2020.
